Their roles often extend beyond the classroom and into the personal lives of children in guiding them. The teacher is a friend-philosopher-guide for the growing children. Children often keep in touch with their teachers even after completion of their school years. Most often the teacher is their conscience – keeper when they face challenging situations in their lives.

Faculty Enrichment Programmes
To keep abreast with the changes in education system, teachers attend workshops and training programmes periodically. They bring in to the class their expertise and learnings to nurture and foster young minds.

Sri Sathya Sai Vidya Vahini’s SOPAAN , the Flagship Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) had organized a workshop on Fundamental learning being the basis of all future learning for a child for teachers of the primary sections on 13th November 2022 to achieve the objective of :
Bi – lingual program focused on Foundation Literacy inspiring children to learn and blossom into life – long learners.
To cater to the diverse learning styles of children and empower each child to learn at his / her preferred pace.
Activities which form the building blocks of learning that are designed to suit Visual , Audio, Kinesthetic, Tactile and multi – mode learners.
Learning content, units of learning and lesson plans to support competency – based learning, as envisioned by NIPUN.
The trainers through the day’s session had successfully helped teachers and learners to fill in the lacuna of the learning gap of the pandemic.
